Virtual Services

We can sometimes offer you a ‘virtual’ service in which a telephone appointment is arranged to avoid the need for you to attend a clinic. Currently these are available for:

  • Postal chlamydia treatments
  • Consultations before having an implant fitted 
  • Consultations before having a coil (IUD/IUS) exchanged
  • Telephone advice around contraception, STIs and  HIV (all ages)

Please note: Our telephone, online and postal services are available for anyone over the age of 16

We also offer free and confidential postal tests for chlamydia, gonorrhoea, HIV and syphilis for anyone 16 years old and over living in North Yorkshire and York. Please visit Welcome to SH.UK — SH.UK for more information.
