Requesting a testing kit
Testing for chlamydia is quick and simple - requiring only a urine sample or for women a self-taken vaginal swab. If you're aged over 16 and you live in North Yorkshire you can use the form below to request a postal kit to be sent to you free of charge. Kits are sent in a plain, discreet envelope. If you are over 16 years old and want to be checked for chlamydia, gonorrhoea, HIV and syphilis in one test you can order one here. If you are under 16 you can still get tested but just need to talk with a nurse, doctor or youth worker first - call us on 01904 725440 or contact us for more details.
The postal test request below is only for chlamydia and does not look for other STIs. The vaginal swabs and urine tests won't detect rectal or throat infections. If you're concerned about other infections, our sexual health clinics will be able to help.
