HIV Testing Week 2026
This year, National HIV Testing Week runs from Monday 9th to Sunday 15th February. Every year, the campaign encourages people to get tested regularly for HIV, aiming to reduce the number of people living with undiagnosed HIV and those diagnosed late.
Are you PrEPared?
PrEP is a medication you can take to stop HIV from replicating in your body. Anyone who is at risk of HIV can take PrEP.

We're back at @Friarage NHS Hospital for our next walk in cervical screening (smear test) clinic in Northallerton. 🗓 Saturday 7th February 2026 🕚 10am - 3pm 📍The Women's Unit January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month. Cervical screening can detect changes early, often before symptoms appear, and is one of the most effective ways to prevent cervical cancer. Every day, two women die of cervical cancer in UK, yet nearly all cases of cervical cancer are preventable.
