Please be aware of a few things before attending these clinics:

Our walk in clinics are very popular, and sometimes the wait can be up to 2 hours.

When you arrive, you’ll be asked to fill out a short form to let us know the reason for your visit. This helps us make sure everyone is seen by the right clinician and therefore you may not be seen in order of attendance. We’ll do our best to see you as soon as we can.

Attending a walk-in clinic doesn’t always guarantee you’ll be seen on that day. Once safe capacity is reached and we are unable to accept any more patients, we'll help you make alternative arrangements to be seen another time.

We also have a dedicated Walk In and Wait clinic in York for young people aged 17 and under.

Top Tips:

There's no on-site parking at the clinic, but don't worry as there is ample parking just behind us in Monk Bar Car Park. Once you've parked, you can walk directly through from the car park. You'll pass the GP surgery, the staff entrance, and the dental centre, before turning right towards our entrance.

If you're approaching from Monkgate, you'll see a large building straight in front of you. Head towards the right and go around the building. We're just behind.
