Knowing what's normal for you can help you spot the signs of cervical cancer. If something feels off, speak to your GP. You can help protect yourself against cervical cancer by attending your screening, sometimes called a smear test, when you're invited. This is now every 5 years between the ages of 25 and 64. You'll receive your first invite around 6 months before your 25th birthday. We know making time to book and attend the appointment can sometimes be hard, and it's not the nicest appointment to attend, but alongside your GP, we're here to provide options to make it as easy as possible. Our specialist team do hundreds of screenings and are pros at making you feel comfortable, calm, and safe. Visit https://www.yorsexualhealth.org.uk/wellbeing/cervical-screening/ for more information on our bookable and walk in clinics 💜
