Test Results

Once you've been tested, we know you'll be keen to get your results as soon as possible, and we'll be doing our best to ensure this is the case.

Your results will be sent to you by text message within 10 to 14 days of your test. Sometimes it might be sooner, but this is a realistic expectation for you.

We kindly ask that you don't contact the clinic to enquire about your results until you've been waiting for 3 weeks. If you have been waiting this long, please call us and we'll be happy to advise you.

While you wait, if you experience any new symptoms or feel unwell, please seek medical attention promptly. We also recommend avoiding sexual contact until you have received your results to protect yourself and others.

All results are confidential and will be communicated directly to you via the contact information you provided. We won't share your results with anyone unless you ask us to.

Knowing what's normal for you can help you spot the signs of cervical cancer. If something feels off, speak to your GP. You can help protect yourself against cervical cancer by attending your screening, sometimes called a smear test, when you're invited. This is now every 5 years between the ages of 25 and 64. You'll receive your first invite around 6 months before your 25th birthday.
