Our highly experienced team will empower you to make your decision, giving you the latest information and guidance to help you start, or switch, to the contraception of your choice.

It's a good idea to do some research before hand, including how the different choices work, their effectiveness, and what might be right for your lifestyle and health needs. Please take a look at the information pages to learn more about your choices.

Accessing Contraception

To start or switch your contraception, you have two options:

  • You can call us on 01904 721111 during opening times to book an appointment.

We do recommend that you book an appointment. This will ensure you have adequate time to discuss your choices with the nurse. You may be asked to come back if you attend a Queue and Wait clinic and wish to have a coil or implant fitted.
