We are excited to invite GPs, Practice Nurses, and Pharmacists to a dedicated, interactive training session delivered by the York & North Yorkshire Sexual Health and HIV nursing and medical team. This half‑day event offers practical, up‑to‑date guidance to support safe, effective management of sexual health presentations in primary care.


What you’ll gain:

  • Greater confidence in who to manage in primary care and who to refer
  • Updates on local and national STI/HIV trends, including emerging issues
  • Practical insights into HIV testing, prevention, and management, including when to offer a test
  • Case‑based group discussions with experienced clinicians
  • A refresh on contraception, including what’s new and how to approach complex conversations
