Our Community Outreach Team can offer 1:1 support if you are engaging in risk taking behaviours such as drug use and unprotected sex. This service is available for most at risk groups including men who have sex with men, BME communities, people using drugs, sex workers and LGBTQ youth.
Compass Reach are a specialist service to help young people in York and North Yorkshire who are aged 9- 19 (and up to 25 for those with special educational needs or disabilities) who are concerned about:
Poor sexual health, including STIs and unplanned pregnancies
Substance misuse (drugs and alcohol)
Behaviour associated with the above two areas that may lead to harm
- Issues relating to emotional wellbeing and mental health

They will arrange for one of their team to see you and can provide you with:
Accurate and up-to-date information on substance misuse, sexual health, unhealthy relationships and risk taking.
An opportunity for you to talk through some of the decisions you are making and provide support in maintaining positive changes.
Advice and support about how to reduce the risks relating to the above.
They can refer you to other young people's services that may be able to help with other areas of life such as school, health and home.
Access to contraception, advice and guidance and signposting to mainstream sexual health services.
